Green is the theme for new Connacht Rugby 2023/24 home kit

Connacht Rugby, in partnership with Intersport Elverys and Macron, have revealed the home kit for the 2023/24 season.

The design of the new Connacht Rugby home kit for the 2023/24 season features a sophisticated and exclusive graphic design revolving around two contrasting shades of green.

The central front and back body of the jersey is in dark green and features this graphic depicting, in an abstract and geometric manner, the feathers that feature in the team’s distinctive and historic logo. The design also continues in a lighter green on both sleeves, and with a shaded effect to give the jersey a sense of fluidity and depth.

The jersey is made from Macron’s ‘Eco Fabric’ – a polyester design that derives from recycled plastic, which further adds to the green message at the heart of this kit launch.

Commenting on the new home kit, head of commercial and marketing at Connacht Rugby, Philip Patterson, said: "We’re in a remarkable period of transformation at Connacht Rugby. With that in mind, we wanted to shake off conventions with our home kit this year. We’re delighted that Macron were able to deliver on that ask brilliantly, and we are confident that the eye-catching colours and bold design choices come together with the sustainable fabric in a way that we’re confident both players and supporters will love equally."
