Mayo Rose remains out in front in Rose of Tralee betting

Mayo’s Kate Heneghan is the favourite to win the Rose of Tralee, according to Ladbrokes.

The Castlebar native is currently priced at 11/4, earning her position as frontrunner following sustained support overnight.

The London and Sydney Roses are hot on her heels and are also attracting their fair share of support. Ladbrokes make both Amy Gillen and Aoife Butler 4/1 shots.

Kerry Rose Kelsey Lang is a close rival at 5/1, while Carlow Rose Caoimhe Deering can be backed at 11/2.

Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “Rose of Tralee fever is in full swing and while the money is behind Mayo right now, it’s too soon to say who will win the coveted crown.”
