Mayo GAA lining up 'dream team' for minor team management vacancy

Former Mayo GAA star Tom O'Reilly is set to be named the new Mayo minor team manager.

The Castlebar coach will replace Sean Deane, who stepped down from the role and is now bidding for the position of Under-20 manager.

O'Reilly will be joined in the post by two other former senior stars, Ciaran McDonald and David Heaney.

The trio have been involved in the Mayo underage coaching academy.

O'Reilly, who applied for the vacancy, will be formally interviewed on Saturday ahead of next Tuesday's county board meeting.
