Castlebar Celtic overcome Westport in Mayo U-21 play-off final after thrilling penalty shootout

Castlebar Celtic emerged victorious in a riveting Mayo under 21 Play-off Final against Westport United, clinching victory with a 4-3 penalty shootout win after a gripping 2-2 draw.

The clash of these under 21 powerhouses unfolded at Solar 21 Milebush Park, showcasing the finest talents in the county's football scene.

The action commenced with a bang as Castlebar Celtic's Oran Groarke capitalised on an early defensive lapse, securing a lead inside five minutes.
