Funeral of Mayo woman who died in N5 road accident
The funeral arrangements have been announced for the 78-year-old woman who lost her life in a road traffic accident on the N5 near Swinford on Monday last.
The tragic death of Margaret (Peggy) Conway (née Keane), Drimcoggy, Srah, Tourmakeady, has evoked a sense of tremendous sadness and loss across the county.
She is deeply mourned by her husband Pádraig, daughters Maureen, Barbara and Caroline, sons Michael and Pat, daughters-in-law Lorraine and Louise, sons-in-law Damien and Mark, partner Aiden, grandchildren Olivia, Emma, Kira, Ryan, Heather, Kate, Caelan, Caoimhe, Conor, Siofra, Seán, Shauna, Clodagh, Dylan, Elaina, Jacob and great-grandchildren Joey, Che and Roxy.
Peggy is also survived by her sister Eileen (New York), brother Michael (Dublin), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law. Peggy will be sincerely missed and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends.
Deepest sympathy is tendered to the bereaved family on their immeasurable loss.
She was predeceased by her parents Mary and Michael, sisters Nancy, Bridie, Kathleen, Sr. Agatha (Mary) and brother Paddy.

Warm tributes are being paid to the deceased on social media where she was described as 'a brilliant, kind lady.'
Her remains will be reposing at Halla Tuar Mhic Éadaigh (F12 C6F2) on Thursday evening at 5.30 p.m. with removal to her home at 7.30 p.m.
Funeral Mass takes place on Friday at 12 noon in St Mary’s Church, Tourmakeady, with burial afterwards in adjoining Tourmakeady Cemetery.
