MIKE GORMLEY, CASTLEBAR

Mike Gormley, Tuam, Galway, and formerly of Castlebar.

Predeceased by his parents Bart and Margaret.

Deeply regretted by his family, sons Shaun and Cian, their mother Caroline Gormley (née Mullins), brothers John, Bart and Francis, sisters Chris and Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Glynn's Funeral Home, High Street, Tuam this Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Removal on Saturday to The Church of the Sacred Heart, Belclare for funeral Mass at 12:00 noon followed by burial in Tuam Cemetery.

OWEN MARTIN BRENNAN, CLAREMORRIS

Owen Martin Brennan, Drimineen, Kiltimagh Road, Claremorris and formerly of Station Road, Balla.

Predeceased by his parents Tom and Sal and his brother Jim (Dungloe).

Dearly loved husband of Bernadette née Carney (formerly of Beltra, Co. Sligo) and loving father of Aishling Hallinan (Clogher, Claremorris), Samantha Cummins (Cross, Claremorris) and Amanda Heneghan (Annies, Hollymount).

He will sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, daughters, sons-in-law Martin, Justin and Brendan, his grandchildren Shauna, Ciara, Ruth, Niamh, Rachel, Rebecca, Owen and Melissa, his brother John and his sisters Margaret Coyne, Ann Mallee, Pauline Flynn and Sally Cunnane his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

Owen was aged 73 years. He had a keen interest in all sport and was a great support of all Mayo teams, having played football, soccer and handball as a young man and in more recent years golf. He was a former secretary of the Mayo Soccer League. He loved taking part in quiz-nights. In his free time he loved gardening. Owen was a carpet fitter by trade. He was one of the chief organisers of the Claremorris Agricultural Show.

Owen will repose in the Balla Community Centre Funeral Home on Thursday, August 24 from 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. with removal to St. Cronan’s Church Balla for Funeral Mass at 6.30 p.m.

Private cremation later.
