AFTER almost 50 years, Westport House is set to bid farewell to its beloved Pirate Adventure Park this Saturday, September 2.

The estate will be unveiling a brand new adventure park in 2024.

To mark this final day, visitors can enjoy all of the thrilling Pirate Adventure Park attractions for just €5 on Saturday.

The estate is hosting the ultimate send-off with one last epic edition of their BBQ & Beats family fun days at Gracy’s on Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m., where you can enjoy a barbecue, tunes with iRadio DJ Ciarán Bennett, free face painting and special appearances from Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Frozen’s Elsa, Chase from Paw Patrol and the Minions.

The final swashbuckling day at the Pirate Adventure Park runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
