Very warm, both by day and night, with thundery showers breaking out at times. That's the latest weather outlook from Met Éireann.
Today will be dry for most with long spells of hazy sunshine. However, a few showers are possible across the southwest and west, where the odd thundery downpour is possible.
Highest temperatures of 22 to 26 degrees, warmest away from east and south coasts, in moderate easterly breezes, fresh on the south coast.
Warm and muggy tonight with temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees, all in just light southeast breezes. While most areas will stay dry and clear, isolated showers may develop in the south.
Tomorrow (Wednesday) will bring sunny spells, with cloud building at times, producing isolated showers. Warm and humid, with top temperatures of 22 to 26 degrees, in moderate southerly winds.
Warm again overnight on Wednesday, with temperatures not falling below 15 to 17 degrees. Remaining mostly dry with clear spells overnight, with the possibility of heavy showers developing at times.
A mostly dry start to Thursday, with scattered heavy or thundery showers developing later in the day. Warm or very warm sunshine at times too. Top temperatures of 20 to 26 degrees, in light southerly breezes.
Showers will largely die out overnight on Thursday with long clear spells. Mist and fog patches will likely develop as winds fall light and variable. Warm overnight with temperatures not falling below 13 to 17 degrees.
Warm spells of sunshine again on Friday. A few well scattered showers are possible. Likely very warm with highest temperatures of 22 to 26 degrees, in light westerly or variable breezes.
Saturday is set to be a mostly dry and cloudy day, with patchy rain or showers possible in the west and northwest. Warm again with highest temperatures of 20 to 25 degrees, in just light variable breezes.
