Three Ireland launches 2023 grants for small businesses in Mayo
Three Ireland has announced the launch of its 2023 Grants for Small Businesses program, inviting small businesses in Mayo to participate and have the chance to win a portion of a generous €100,000 bursary.
This initiative, now in its third year, has already injected over €500,000 into Irish SMEs since its inception in 2021. The support provided includes investments in products and services, advertising and PR assistance, and access to invaluable industry expertise.
Last year, one of the fortunate recipients of this grant was Kocoono, a Mayo-based wellness company with a unique focus on tackling sleep, stress, and anxiety through their product - the Weighted Blanket Luxe. Kocoono's success story serves as a testament to the positive impact that this program can have on local businesses.
Managed by Enterprise Nation and generously funded by Three Ireland, the Grants for Small Businesses program aims to select ten small businesses to receive a share of the €100,000 bursary.
Each winning business will be awarded €5,000 in cash, €5,000 for device and connectivity solutions, and the invaluable opportunity to receive mentoring from Three Ireland's in-house experts.
What's new in this year's program is an exciting addition of expertise sessions for the top 20 shortlisted applicants. These sessions will offer guidance across various critical business areas, including sustainability, procurement, technology, social media, marketing, product development, and public relations.
Past recipients of this grant include AgriGuardian, a farm safety specialist from Limerick, RunSafe, a sports tech firm from Clare, and Muckross Creamery, an artisan ice cream producer from Kerry.
The application process for the 2023 Grants for Small Businesses program opens on September 4 and closes on October 2. Judging will commence on October 27, with the winners set to be announced in November 2023.
