Castlebar Town and Manulla to clash in Sunday's Mayo Women's Cup final

CASTLEBAR Town and Manulla will meet in Solar 21 Park, Castlebar, in the final of the Mayo Women's Cup on Sunday (kick-off 2 p.m.).

Manulla are chasing a unique treble, looking to add the Mayo Cup to their Mayo Women's Football League and Rumley Cup titles.

Castlebar Town were their closest contenders for the league title this season, and there's always very little between the sides.

It was honours even in their opening game of the 2023 season but Manulla edged the league and cup encounters that followed.

This time last year the sides met in the inaugural Rumley Cup final, where Town were victorious on penalties.

Sunday's encounter will most likely serve up another classic.

Admission for the match is €5 (cash only) and entry for children is free.
