Two Mayo hardware stores win at United in Excellence Awards

KEAN’S Claremorris Homevalue and P.J. Kelly’s Homevalue in Westport took home awards at this year's United in Excellence Awards.

Kean’s won the Best Overall Garden Centre award with and P.J. Kelly’s Homevalue winning Marketing Champion of the Year.

Hardware and builders merchant stores from around the country have been honoured for achieving exceptional standards in retailing at the United in Excellence Awards ceremony, hosted by comedian Mario Rosenstock at Mount Wolseley Hotel Spa & Golf Resort in Carlow.

Joshua Fernandes from Einhell presented James, Sinead, Patricia and James Kean with the award, while Ray Molyneaux from Irish Cement was on hand to present Stephen Chambers with the marketing award.

P.J. Kelly’s Homevalue also scooped the Best Customer Service Store in Connacht award while Kean’s won the Best Light Hardware Store in Connacht award.
