'No dogs' signs needed at graveyards - Mayo councillor

SIGNS needs to be erected prohibiting dogs in cemeteries.

The call was made by Councillor Brendan Mulroy at a Westport-Belmullet Municipal District meeting.

Dog fouling at burial grounds is 'shocking', stated the councillor.

It is nearly impossible for volunteers to strim them as a result.

Every graveyard in the municipal district should have signage saying 'No dogs allowed', he suggested.
