DAVE RYAN, LOUISBURGH
Dave Ryan, Ard Caher, Louisburgh and formerly of Dublin.
Predeceased by his son James, daughter Sephine, grandson David, and granddaughter Rose. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Donna, children Dee, Mark, Bryan, Donna and Scott, daughters-in-law Alison and Charlotte, son-in-law Richard, his fifteen grandchildren, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, extended Ryan and Dillon families and a wide circle of friends.
Dave will lie in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Sunday, November 5 from 5:00 p.m., concluding with Vigil Prayers at 6:30 p.m.
Removal on Monday at 11:40 a.m., walking to St. Patrick's Church Louisburgh for 12 noon Mass of the Resurrection, followed by Service of Committal at Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan at 5:00 p.m. (via Ard Caher).
Gretta Morris, Claremorris
Gretta Morris (née McDonnell), North Quincy, USA and formerly of Burrin, Ballyglass, Claremorris, and Deereenmanus, Castlebar.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary McDonnell, her brother, Michael Joe McDonnell, her nephew, Michael McClintock and her beloved granddaughter, Finn McCabe.
Gretta is survived by her heartbroken children, Dylan and his partner Alyson, Aengus, and his wife Mary Ellen, Nollaig and her husband Keith, and Aoife and her husband Justin. She also leaves her much loved grandchildren, Gavin, Kian, Eily, Faela, Avery and Rhys. She is survived by her siblings, Patrick, John, Brendan, Geraldine Breege, Liam and Kevin and their families. All of whom will carry their amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt in their hearts forever.
Born and raised in Burrin, Ballyglass, Claremorris, Gretta was the second of nine children. She worked as a paediatric nurse in Dublin until she moved back to Mayo to raise a family. She worked for many years as a telephone company operator where she made many lifelong friends.
In 1989 Gretta moved her family to Boston, she always said it was one of the best decisions she ever made. She returned to nursing, earning degrees at Labouré College and Emmanuel College. She was devoted to all her nursing roles including proudly serving as a SANE nurse for over 20 years and as a CPR instructor. She was extremely proud of her 27 years in the Emergency Department at Boston Medical Center, where she truly loved her job, creating lasting bonds with her patients and the extended family that she created there. She also imparted her love of her chosen vocation to countless nursing students as an Adjunct Professor at the Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University and Labouré College of Healthcare.
Gretta was passionate about health and fitness. She was an avid runner and was a longstanding member of the L Street Running Club in South Boston. She ran road races and marathons all over. In the years that she was not running in her favourite, the Boston Marathon, she could be found volunteering in the finish line medical tent. In recent years she took up hiking, climbing mountains throughout New England, as well as the El Camino de Santiago pilgrimage.
Funeral and burial will take place in County Mayo, at a later date.
MICHAEL VINCENT CADEN, CROSSMOLINA

Sadly missed by his loving wife Patricia, son Dennis, daughter Yvonne, brother, sister, relatives and friends.
Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Funeral Mass on Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Abban’s Church, Doonane.
A private cremation will follow.
LILY BUTTERS, BALLINA
Lily Butters (née Murray), Sherborne Dorset England and formerly of Bunree Road, Ballina.
Predeceased by her parents Delia and Paddy Murray, her daughters Nancy and Marion, her brothers Frank, John, Harry, PJ, David and her sister Patsy.
Much loved and cherished wife of Bill and loving mother of her sons Ronnie, Paul, and Michael.
Deeply regretted by her daughters-in-law, Theresa, Sara, and extended families.
She was a loving grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great- grandmother.
She will be greatly missed also by her sisters Jean and Ann, relatives, friends in both England and Ireland.
Lilys funeral will take place on November, 8 in Sherborne, Dorset, England.

John was predeceased by his parents Peter and Barbara, brothers Tommie and Pauric. Beloved and treasured husband of Fidelis, wonderful father to Julie, Fiona and John, his grandkids Caoimhe, Aoife, Jack, Amelia, Rom, Alexis and Fionn, his son-in-law Nigel, sisters Mary, Kathleen and Bernie, brothers Mike, Martin, Pete and Hugh, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
Remains reposing at his residence on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
