A gusty start to the week is in store for Mayo

Mayo escaped the worst of Storm Debi but high winds will be apparent tomorrow, according to the latest forecast.

Take a look below at what the weather has in store for the county.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 13

The weather forecast indicates that temperatures will reach a maximum of 13 degrees Celsius, accompanied by fresh and gusty westerly winds.

Showers may be heavy at times.

The evening is expected to remain breezy, with clear spells and passing showers, most frequently in north Ulster.

Overnight temperatures will dip to 4-7 degrees Celsius.

Given this unsettled weather pattern, it is advisable for Mayo residents to stay weather-aware and cautious, especially if travelling.

As blustery conditions persist, securing loose objects and dressing warmly is recommended to ensure comfort and safety.
