Mayo Italian restaurant shortlisted for top award

Mayo Italian restaurant Al Muretto has been shortlisted ahead of the annual Just Eat Awards.

The shortlist was announced by TV presenter Muireann O’Connell, who officially launched the awards.

Now in its tenth year, the annual awards celebrate Just Eat partners across the country, recognising the passion, dedication and excellence that goes into every dish delivered to our doors.

This year, 65 nominees have been shortlisted across 12 award categories, including ‘Best Pizza’, ‘Best Mexican’, ‘Best Burger’ and ‘Best Chipper.’

Located at Tucker Street, Castlebar, Al Muretto has been shortlisted in the Best of Ulster & Connacht category where they will go head-to-head with some of the best restaurants and takeaways in the region.

Voting is open until Wednesday, December 13.

The Just Eat Awards winners will be announced at a gala ceremony hosted by Muireann O’Connell in March 2024.
