Heavy rainfall to dominate Thursday weather in Mayo

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 16

Tomorrow will be a day dominated by relentless rainfall.

The morning will usher in persistent and heavy rain, setting a damp and cloudy tone for the county.

This substantial downpour is expected to gradually clear eastwards by midday, making way for intermittent sunny spells amid scattered showers throughout the day.

Temperatures will hover between 6 to 9 degrees Celsius, accompanied by moderate to occasionally fresh and gusty west to southwest winds.

As night falls, the Atlantic coast will still experience lingering showers, while eastern areas can anticipate a respite.

The night will be cold, with temperatures dropping to zero to 5 degrees Celsius, possibly resulting in frost formation in select areas.
