The following are today's Mayo death and funeral notices.

THOMAS CAHILL, STRAIDE

Thomas (Tom) Cahill, Pollagh, Straide, Foxford.

Tom passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff of the Mystical Rose Nursing Home Claregalway.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Kitty, brothers John, Paddy and Eddie, sister Mary Forde, and sister-in-law Peggy Maloney.

Tom will be sadly missed by his sister Nora McGuire (Lucan), brother Jimmy (Corrandulla) and his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing in Straide Community Centre on Friday from 11.30 a.m. with removal at 12.30 p.m. to St Peter and Paul's Church, Straide, for Mass at 1 p.m .

Burial will take place afterwards in Straide New Cemetery.

THOMAS DUNLEAVY, FOXFORD

Thomas Dunleavy, Tavanaghmore, Foxford.

He died peacefully in the care of the staff at Mayo Hospice, Castlebar.

Thomas was predeceased by his parents Tony and Nelly, his sister Finbar, nieces Denise and Orla and nephew David.

He will be dearly and lovingly missed by his partner Noreen Joyce, sisters Ann Brogan and Teresa Kane, brother John Joe, nephews and nieces Patrick, Froline, Rebecca, Jessica and Padraig, in-laws, relatives, neighbours and friends and the extended Joyce family.

Thomas will repose at his residence (F26 R726) on Friday and Saturday evening from 5 until 8 p.m.

Funeral will arrive to the Church of Christ the King, Knockmore, for Funeral Mass on Sunday at 11 a.m. with the funeral proceeding to Ballinahaglish Cemetery.
