PADRAIG GERAGHTY, BELMULLET

Padraig Geraghty, Balbriggan, Dublin and formerly of Ontario, Canada and Georgia, U.S.A. who originated from Ardmore Point, Binghamstown, Belmullet and Logmore, Belmullet.

Predeceased by his wife Kathleen (Mullingar, Co. Westmeath), parents Michael and Mary Geraghty, brothers Michael and Martin and sisters Mary Barrett and Julie Fox.

Beloved father of Kevin (Washington D.C.) and Stephen (Atlanta, Georgia), dear father in law to Monica and Kathleen and adored grandfather to his grandchildren Patrick, Senan, Cahir, Michael, Deirdre, Aidan and Sinead. He will be fondly remembered by bemused nephews and nieces both near and far, relatives and many friends.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. until 6.30 p.m. with funeral arriving at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.

DECLAN MULLARKEY, BALLINA

Declan Owen Mullarkey,Yonkers, New York and late of Dublin, Mayo and Sligo.

Declan, predeceased by his parents Cora and Thomas (former Superintendent, Ballina, and Belmullet) and his sister Avril who died during infancy.

Declan is survived by his loving partner Kathy, his sister Majella Mullarkey, and his brothers, Justin Mullarkey, and Patrick (Santa Maria) Mullarkey. He leaves behind three nephews, one niece, numerous cousins, and his Aunt Beatrice. Declan's memory will be cherished by a wide circle of friends and family.

Declan’s Requiem Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, at Holy Child Roman Catholic Church, located on The Thatch Road, Whitehall, Dublin 9, Ireland.

Funeral cortege will depart on Sunday, December 10, from the Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Unit 3, Union Road Business Park, Collooney, Co. Sligo at 1:30 p.m. to arrive for burial at 2:00 p.m. at St. Nathy’s Cemetery, Collooney.

JOHN RUANE, BALLINA

John Ruane, Drumcondra, Dublin and formerly Carrentrila, Ballina.

Predeceased by his parents James and Elizabeth, brothers Kevin, Joe and Muredach. Dearly loved husband of Mary and father of Patricia, Elizabeth, Sean, Paul and Aidan. Very sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Ruth, Caoimhe and Kathleen, sons-in-law Ger and Hamish, brothers, Jimmy and Gerry [Gerard], sister Bridie, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at The Kirwan Funeral Home, 21-23 Fairview Strand, Dublin 3 on Wednesday December 6 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Requiem Mass in The Church of St. Columba, Iona Road, Glasnevin, Dublin 9 on Thursday December 7 at 10.30 a.m. with cremation service afterwards at Glasnevin Crematorium.
