All Paws is Mayo’s newest veterinary hospital.

Located at Mountain View, Castlebar, it was established by Dr. Leonie Slowey and Dr. Clare Eugster in August 2023 with the aim of providing Mayo’s pets with compassionate fear free care.

The hospital was winner of Newcomer of the Year at the Local Pet Awards which were held in Dublin this month.

The proprietors stated: "We pride ourselves on offering a complete range of treatments from consultations, vaccinations, acupuncture and preventative care to digital x-ray, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory.

"We offer neutering, surgery and dentistry including surgical extractions. We are already expanding our facilities to offer dental x-ray and cryotherapy from January 2024. We also have an orthopaedic surgeon that visits the practice for patients requiring orthopaedic surgeries.

"Our team of experienced registered veterinary nurses will make your pet feel at ease, monitor them during anaesthesia and ensure a smooth recovery from surgery in our state-of-the-art kennels.

"They are on hand to triage appointments, offer suture clinics, weight management clinics and nail clips. They also run puppy parties for puppies between the ages of 10-16 weeks who have received a first vaccination.

"These provide an opportunity to socialise your puppy in a safe environment, get to know other dog owners in the area and receive advice on preventative health care, diet, socialisation and behaviour."
