Coolegrane Christmas Lights supporting Mayo Roscommon Hospice this year

THE Coolegrane Lights are shining bright every night this Christmas, raising money for Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation.

The long established lights display is the largest in the country and famous for its colour and home-made figures. They can be enjoyed up until January 7.

The lights are the work of Kevin and Brendan Hughes who have raised money for numerous good causes in the community over recent years.

The display is 125 metres long, close to the road, so you can drive along and view the lights. There is also a safe viewing area off the road for children. And with Christmas carols playing all night at the displays, make a special effort to visit the Coolegrane Lights over the festive season.

The postcode to visit is F26 Y519 - approximately three miles from Foxford town, and the lights are well signposted.

A GoFundMe page is live if you wish to donate and all support for the hospice is appreciated: https://gofund.me/7f979454.
