Passing of Frances Ruane is deeply regretted in Mayo

The death has occurred of Frances Ruane (née Noone), Kilkenny Cross, Breaffy, and 'The Harp', Rush Street, Castlebar, and formerly of Foxford.

Aged 50, her passing has evoked a huge sense of sadness and loss in the community at large.

She was a widely popular member of the licensed trade in the county town, her kind and courteous nature endearing her to customers of The Harp public house in the town centre.

Frances is deeply regretted by her husband Kevin, son Luke and mother Mary.

Frances will also be sadly missed by her brothers Kevin (Dublin) and Stephen (Foxford), sister Angela Noone-Faul (Castlebar), brothers-in-law John, Pat, Robert and Declan Ruane and John Faul, sisters-in-law Ann and Linda, nieces and nephews Lauren, Jane and Eoin, uncles, aunts, cousins and her many close friends.

Heartfelt sympathy is extended to the bereaved families on their loss.

She was predeceased by her father Michael Noone (Foxford) and her parents-in-law Johnny and Mary Ruane (McHale Road, Castlebar).

Frances will repose in Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar, on Friday, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Her funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar, on Saturday morning for Funeral Mass at 11.30 a.m.

Afterwards Frances will be laid to rest in the New Cemetery, Newport Road, Castlebar.
