McStay names seven debutants for Mayo's clash with London

Mayo GAA senior football team manager Kevin McStay has named his team for the FBD Connacht GAA football league quarterfinal against London on Sunday at 1 p.m. at The University of Galway Connacht GAA Air Dome in Bekan.

He has included seven debutants to the starting 15 for the encounter.

They Aaron McDonnell and Kevin Quinn, Ballinrobe, Tom O'Flaherty and Conor Hunt, Aghamore, Tomás Fahey Kilmaine, Conor Reid, Bohola Moy Davitts and Darren Quinn Garrymore. Mayo will play London for the first time since the preliminary round of the Connacht championship game in 2016.

Rob Hennelly and Cillian O'Connor are the only players involved with Mayo this weekend who were on the match day panel in Ruislip in 2016.

Tommy Conroy, The Neale, will be captain on the day.

Roscommon's Dermot Lyons will be the referee for this game.

This game is broadcast live on Midwest Radio with Michael D McAndrew and Martin Carney.
