Weather warnings for Mayo extended

THE weather warnings issued by Met Éireann for County Mayo have been extended as the cold spell continues.

The Low Temperature/Ice Warning has been extended until 12 p.m. on Thursday, January 18.

A Snow/Ice Warning has also been extended - until 6 p.m. on Thursday.

Snow showers, severe frost and icy stretches will cause difficult travelling conditions.
