Mayo search stood down after discovery of body

THE search for missing Mayo man Oliver Gaughan has been stood down following the discovery of a body.

The 38-year-old had been missing from the Geesala area since January 20.

An Garda Síochána have extended thanks to the media and the public for their assistance with the search.
