Mayo college's women's team book place in All-Ireland final
THE Mayo College of Further Education & Training ladies football team have booked their spot in an All-Ireland final.
The Mayo college saw off the challenge of Marino College, Dublin, in the semi-final on a final score of 3-7 to 2-5 at the Connacht GAA dome in Bekan.
The All-Ireland final against Blackhall Place is scheduled to take place next week (time and venue TBC).
Principal Michael Murphy paid tribute to the team on their achievement, in what is their first year in the competition, and to their manager, Michael Moyles.
