Predeceased by her husband John, son Kenneth, brother Cyril, sister Rita, and her son-in-law Cecil Ormsby. Sadly missed and deeply regretted by her family; Ann (Ormsby), Robert, Caroline (Kelly), David, Alan, Shirley (Rappaport), Joyce (Clarke), and Noelle; sons in law, daughters in law, brother William Wills, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Lynn's Funeral Home, Killala, on Friday from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral cortege arriving to St Patrick's Cathedral, Killala, for service at 2pm on Saturday, followed by burial in Mullafarry Cemetery.

BEN THORNTON, SWINFORD

Ben Thornton, Rathleague, Portlaoise and late of Swinford.

Beloved husband of Norrie and dearly loved father to Alan and Lorena.

Predeceased by his sisters Mary and Patsy and brother Eddie.

Deeply regretted by his sisters, Sr Augusta and Theresa, son-in-law Rory, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and good friend Joe and former colleagues in An Garda Siochána.

Reposing on February 29 at Keegans Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6.30 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Rosary recital at 7.30 p.m. Removal on Friday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul's Church for 12 noon requiem mass.

Pádraic Filan, Saint Colman’s Villa, Rathruane, Bohola.

Predeceased by his parents Cáit and Pat Filan and brothers Séamus and Peter.

Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving sister Thérèse, nephews Pat, Jimmy, John, Paul, Fergal, Cíarán, Kevin and Seán and by his nieces, Deirdre, Joan, Catherine, Oonagh, Sinéad, and Mary.

He will be fondly remembered by his grand-nephews and grand-nieces and his colleagues at Saint Gerald’s College, Castlebar.

Reposing at The Sheridan Memorial Community Centre Bohola, on Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to the Church of the Immaculate Conception and St. Joseph Bohola

Requiem mass on Saturday at 1.30 p.m. in the Church of the Immaculate Conception and St. Joseph Bohola with the funeral proceeding to the St Joseph’s Cemetery Bohola.

MICHAEL DONOGHUE, CASTLEBAR

Michael Donoghue, Derrywash, Castlebar and formerly of Srah, Tourmakeady.

Predeceased by his loving parents Michael and Mary Donoghue (née Heneghan).

Requiem Mass on Saturday, March 2 at 11:30 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar, followed by private burial in Tourmakeady Cemetery.

KATHLEEN MCDERMOTT, ISLANDEADY

Kathleen McDermott (née Gavin), Leitir, Islandeady, and recently of Great Barr, Birmingham.

Beloved wife of Michael (Mick), loving mother of Kevin, Gerald and Teresa and grandmother to Ciarán, Lauren, Joseph & Eleanor. Sadly missed by daughter-in-law Mary (Tina) and son-in-law Phil as well as great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends in Ireland and England.

Brought into Sacred Heart RC Church, Witton Road, Aston, Birmingham on Wednesday, March 20, at 6.00 p.m.

Funeral Mass Thursday, March 21 at 10.30 a.m. at Sacred Heart RC Church followed by Burial at Oscott Cemetery. Returning to Sacred Heart Catholic Club for refreshments.

Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Rosshill Cemetery, Clonbur.
