Mayo Young Sports Stars: Badminton team secure national title for St. Gerald's

The St. Gerald's College Under 14 team of Fiachra Donaldson, Morgan Neary, Dylan Moran, Aaron Coogan and Gary Bolger won the Connacht secondary schools badminton title and followed it up with the All-Ireland Division 2 crown, defeating schools from Munster, Leinster and Ulster opposition along the way.

It's the first time that the school had won this title for many years – a super achievement by boys who have won a number of individual Connacht titles at juvenile club tournaments.

Under the guidance of coach Antoinette Crowley, the St. Gerald's lads swept all before them in a great run of badminton success.
