Number of changes to Mayo team for Roscommon game

Mayo GAA senior football manager Kevin McStay has made a number of changes to his team for their Allianz National Football League Division 1 game against Roscommon this weekend.

Goalkeeper Colm Reape, Donnacha McHugh, Bob Tuohy, Aidan O'Shea and Ryan O'Donoghue are all listed to start, while Stephen Coen will captain the team on the day.

This Saturday will be the 33rd meeting between the two counties in the league. The first was in 1927 and the most recent was last year in Dr. Hyde Park. Mayo have 21 wins in those fixture and Roscommon have 10, and there has only ever been one draw – all the way back in 1940.

Only Kerry, Galway, Dublin, Meath and Sligo have been more frequent league opponents for Mayo.

Roscommon's last win in the fixture was in 1988 in Dr. Hyde Park on a scoreline of 1-07 to 1-06.

This year's game takes place tomorrow (Saturday) at 7.30 p.m. in Hastings lnsurance MacHale Park, Castlebar. Cavan referee Joe McQuillan is down to referee the fixture. There will be live commentary on Midwest Radio with Michael D. McAndrew and Michael Conroy, while TG4 will have live coverage of the game, with coverage beginning at 7.15 p.m. Mayo GAA will have live updates across all social media channels on the evening.
