Initial project approval for Mayo school extension

INITIAL project approval has been given to Ballintubber National School for an extension, comprising of a new mainstream classroom.

The news has been confirmed to Deputy Alan Dillon by the Department of Education following months of consultation.

Said Deputy Dillon: “This is very welcome news for this very popular school.

“Congratulations to everyone involved and I wish principal Karen Serantes and all the teachers and staff continued success.”
