A cloudy start to the day tomorrow for Mayo

Intermittent rainfall, cloud and sunny spells to dominate, according to the latest forecast.

THURSDAY, MARCH 7

A cloudy start with some patchy rain but sunny spells will develop by the afternoon and it will become mostly dry too.

Moderate to fresh south easterly breezes, strong at times along the coast, with highest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees.

Our weather will be mixed and breezy overall through the rest of the week and into the weekend.

Thursday night will see a mix of cloud and clear spells along with a few showers, mainly in the east and north.

The showers will be isolated elsewhere.

Light to moderate easterly winds will increase moderate to fresh overnight, strong near coasts.

Cloud amounts will tend to increase too.

Lows of 1 to 6 degrees will occur early on in the night, with temperatures rising as the winds increase.
