Funeral arrangements announced for Mayo teen killed in road tragedy

FUNERAL arrangements have been announced for 17-year-old Vakaris Gudaitis, Tavrane, Kilkelly, and formerly of Lithuania, who died in a road tragedy at the weekend.

Vakaris died after being struck by a car on the N17 on Saturday evening.

Reposing is at St. Colman’s Funeral Home, Lower James Street, Claremorris (F12 R3W8), on Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral will arrive to St. Colman’s Church, Claremorris, on Friday for requiem Mass at 11 a.m., with removal afterwards to Shannon Crematorium for committal service at 2 p.m.

Predeceased by his grandfather Kestutis, Vakaris is deeply mourned by his heartbroken parents Renata and Nerijus, brothers Ruslanas, Faustas and Nojus, sisters Karina and Vilte, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to whom deepest sympathy is extended on their great loss.

The Gudaitis family have extended thanks to everyone for their support at this difficult time.
