Public consultation event on Balla Active Travel Scheme

MAYO County Council is holding a public consultation event on the N60 Pollavaddy to Balla Active Travel Scheme preferred route option.

It takes place on Tuesday, April 23, in Balla Community Resource Centre between 2 p.m. and 7.30 p.m.

Drawings of the preferred route option will be on display and staff from Mayo National Roads Office will be available to answer questions.

Following on from the route options consultation which took place during 2023, the council, in conjunction with TII, have developed a preferred route and they invite residents of the local area, members of the public and other interested parties to view the route and provide feedback.

The consultation can also be viewed, and submissions made, on Mayo County Council's consultation portal (https://consult.mayo.ie/) between Tuesday, April 23, and Tuesday, May 7.
