Central Mayo community in mourning over death of popular personality
The death Trevor O'Sullivan, Lakelands, Manulla, has evoked an immense sense of loss in the community.
He died suddenly at his residence after a long illness, bravely borne.
Trevor is survived by his adoring parents Kathleen and Timmy, his much loved sister Denise, nephew Kian, nieces Mia, Ava, Freya, Elena, Elise and Lucia, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours and a large circle of friends, to whom deepest sympathy is tendered.
Lovely tributes are being paid to the deceased on social media.
One stated: "Trevor was such a character and such a kind soul.
"His writing was so creative and I love how he expressed his journey so honestly."
Another said: "We met when he was studying journalism in DCU.
"His joy at being in college was palpable and he embraced every aspect of it with the passion he had for lots of things in life, none more so than his beloved Elvis."
A further tribute stated: "Sincere sympathies on the sad loss of Trevor.
"We soldiered together in DCU many years ago, and had great times following Liverpool and battling on FIFA. A lovely guy."
Reposing at the family home on Saturday evening from 5 until 7 p.m.
Removal on Sunday at 1.20 p.m. to St. Anne's Church, Belcarra, for Funeral Mass at 2 p.m.
Burial takes place afterwards in Guesdian Cemetery.
