Three Mayo MACE stores honoured for retail excellence

THREE MACE stores in Mayo were honoured at the MACE Excellence Awards for achieving exceptional standards in retailing.

Excellence Awards, held in association with Solution Management Associates (SMA), are only awarded to MACE stores that pass an intensive year-long inspection, including three unannounced audits, visits from mystery shoppers and a BWG-led compliance audit for every store as part of the qualifying criteria.

The Mayo stores who received an Excellence Award are: Padraic Delaney, Delaney’s MACE, Castlebar, and Delaney’s MACE, Charlestown, and Dermot Fallon, Fallon’s MACE, Ballinrobe.

Congratulating the winners, Keith Crawford, MACE sales director, said: “The MACE Excellence Awards recognise those who, through their commitment to outstanding retail standards and customer service, continue to set the benchmark for the brand and marketplace overall. Increasingly high standards are undoubtedly contributing to the continued success of MACE.
