Piping works will improve parking at north Mayo cemetery

WORKS are to take place to improve the parking situation during funerals at a north Mayo cemetery.

Councillor Jarlath Munnelly has confirmed that funding has been secured to pipe a section of drain along the roadside at Rathfran Graveyard.

This was causing big problems for cars parking during funerals, he explained. This drain will now be piped.

Works should be completed over the summer, he added.
