Sunny spells to dominate for Mayo tomorrow

Thursday morning will start foggy but sunshine will break through, according to the latest forecast.

THURSDAY, MAY 16

Fog will clear through the morning to leave another day of sunny spells and scattered showers, heavy at times with a further chance of thunderstorms developing.

Highest temperatures of 18 to 21 degrees in mostly light northerly breezes, more moderate though near coastal areas.

Some rain or showers initially before becoming drier for the weekend. Highest temperatures mostly in the high teens.

Thursday night will become dry for many overnight with clear spells as showers become isolated though mist and fog patches will develop.

However, cloudier conditions will move from the east with showery outbreaks of rain following.

Temperatures not falling below 9 to 13 degrees in light to moderate north westerly winds, fresher towards morning in the west and south west.
