Two men charged over €2.1m cannabis seizure in Dublin

Two men who were arrested in connection with the seizure of €2.1 million worth of cannabis have been charged.

The two men in their 30s were arrested on Friday, and will appear in court on Saturday evening.

Officers from the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the Revenue Customs Service detected the consignment on Friday.

Revenue said the 105kg of cannabis was discovered following an “intelligence-led operation”.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
