A changeable weekend in store for Mayo

Temperatures look set to be below average this weekend, according to the latest forecast.

SATURDAY, JUNE 15

Showers or longer spells of rain in the morning.

Drier and brighter in the afternoon.

Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees.

Light to moderate north west winds will be strong for a time at the coast.

Mixed and changeable through the outlook period with temperatures close to or a little below average overall.

Saturday night will see any remaining showers will soon die out on Saturday night and it will become dry in most places with long clear spells developing.

A few mist and fog patches will form and it'll become cloudy in parts of the north and west overnight with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle developing in these parts.

Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees, with winds decreasing mostly light westerly.
