Pedestrian crossing survey in central Mayo village

A pedestrian crossing survey will take place in Ballyheane village before the end of the school term.

Mayo County Council has been in discussions with the roads design team who are organising the survey.

The data will provide an understanding of the number and type of crossings occurring, and will inform the demand and justification for a crossing in the village.

The update was given to Castlebar Municipal District councillors in a monthly report from management.
