Mayo GAA club launches exciting new fundraiser

The Ranch in Claremorris buzzed with excitement last Friday evening as Garrymore GAA Club officially launched its latest and most innovative fundraising initiative, the Garrymore GAA Quid Game Event.

This thrilling event, inspired by the hit Netflix series Squid Game, is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 4, at the McWilliam Hotel, Claremorris.

Quid Game is designed to deliver all the excitement and suspense of the original series - minus the intense violence. Participants will engage in a series of six skill-based games that test their accuracy, endurance, patience and hand-eye coordination. The competition promises an adrenaline-pumping experience for all involved.

Local and neighbouring club members from across the country are invited to compete for an impressive cash prize. The winner will take home a substantial €10,000 – and will have the unique opportunity to donate part or all of their winnings to a club or charity of their choice.

Garrymore GAA’s new initiative aims to provide an unforgettable experience for participants while offering local businesses and clubs a fantastic opportunity to give back to their community. By involving a wide range of participants and spectators, the event is expected to foster a sense of unity and support within the community.

Additionally, Garrymore GAA extends an exclusive invitation to other clubs to nominate their players for this novel event. The public is also urged to attend and cheer on the competitors, ensuring the event's success through community support.
