Woman charged after €270k of drugs seized in Dublin

A woman has been arrested and charged following the seizure of €270,000 worth of drugs in Coolock, County Dublin.

The drugs were seized following the search of a property in Coolock on Wednesday just after 12pm.

A substantial quantity of suspected MDMA was seized to the value of approximately €203,400, along with cocaine worth €24,010, cannabis herb worth €21,800, cannabis jellies worth €20,000 and cannabis valued at €4,200.

The total value of drugs seized is over €270,000. They are currently subject to analysis by Forensic Science Ireland.

A woman in her 50s was arrested and detained at a Garda station in Dublin.

She has since been charged and will appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice on July 7th.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
