SATURDAY was lady captain's day (Mary Hughes) at Mulranny Golf Club, which was blessed with a very nice day that saw Aine Mhic Suibhne emerge as a popular winner.

Results were: 1st A. Mhic Suibhne 44, 2nd M. Farrell 43, 3rd Ger Barrett 43, 4th C.Rowland 42, past captains M. Mulloy 38, 5th M. Mulchrone 41, 6th U. McGovern 41, front nine M. Wilson, back nine P. Jordan, nine hole Lucy Love 16, visitors Lorraine Porter 20.

Gents nine-hole: 1st I. O'Neill 21, 2nd J. Joyce 21, 3rd J. Moran 19.
