North Mayo establishment in the running for nightclub of the year

Bar Square, a popular late-night venue in Ballina, has been named as a finalist in the prestigious Late Bar/Nightclub category for the 2024 Bar of the Year Awards.

Located on Garden Street in the heart of the Salmon Capital, Bar Square has established itself as an iconic spot for live music, socialising, and dancing.

This family-run food and music venue is known for its modern, trendy, and beautifully decorated ambience.

Unsurprisingly, Bar Square was previously awarded The Most Stylish Bar in Ireland in 2013.

Bar Square will face stiff competition from well-known nightclubs in Dublin such as McGowan’s of Phibsboro, Bad Bobs in Temple Bar and Cafe en Seine.

In a statement on Facebook, Bar Square announced their excitement about the recent nomination:
