SATURDAY, JULY 20

A wet start with rain in most areas, heavy at times with spot flooding possible.

It will gradually clear eastwards through the afternoon with sunny spells and a few showers following from the west.

Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees with light southerly breezes becoming northwesterly and freshening as rain clears.

Saturday night will be cooler and fresher with clear spells and a few showers in the west.

Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees with light to moderate westerly breezes.

SUNDAY, JULY 21

After a mainly dry start, rain will develop in the west during the morning and then spread eastwards to all areas through the afternoon and evening.

A cooler day with highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees with light to moderate southerly winds.

Sunday night will be a wet night with widespread rain.

It will gradually clear much of Munster and south Leinster overnight with scattered showers following there.

Lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees with light southerly or variable winds.
