Probe into fire outbreak at unoccupied Mayo property

An investigation is to be launched into the outbreak of a fire at an unoccupied property on Turlough Road, Castlebar.

The fire-fighting services have been at the scene this evening to bring the blaze under control.

The incident has caused some traffic disruption at the location as the dwelling is situation within close proximity to a busy roadway.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area until the fire is fully extinguished.
