Maura Downey (née Prendergast), Porterstown, Dublin, formerly of Easton Park, Leixlip, Co. Kildare and Newtown, Clogher.

Beloved wife of Noel of 51 years, cherished mother of Dermot, John and Teresa, devoted grandmother to Aimee, Ian, Céala and Claragh and dear sister of Christy, Edwin, Catherine, Ann, John (Junior), Pauric and the late Michael.

Predeceased by her parents John and Mary. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Kim, John’s partner Karen, Teresa’s partner Ciarán, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence on Thursday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Removal to St. Mochta’s Church, Porterstown on Friday morning arriving for Requiem Mass at 10 a.m. followed by burial in Confey Cemetery, Leixlip.

CATHY HUGHES, WESTPORT

Cathy (Cathriona Cecilia) Hughes, Boathaven, Dun Na Carraige, Salthill, Galway and formerly Westport.

Predeceased by her parents Máire (née Kelly) and Pádraig Hughes, daughter Máire Cristín Greene, brother Seamus Hughes, nephew Pádraig Hughes, sisters-in-law Deirdre Hughes (née Greene), Kim Hughes (née Ryan), brother-in-law Stephen Cassidy and Marion's partner Johnny Gorman.

Cathy will be dearly missed by her children William and Isabelle Greene, daughter-in-law Anne Carey, son-in-law Seán Treacy, grandchildren Pierce, Abby, Honora and Imogen.

Deeply cherished by her sisters Anne (Joe) McGovern, Marion Hughes, Orla (Eamonn) O'Carroll and Eleanor (Kevin) Moran; brothers Cathal, Patrick (Olive), Harry, Owen (Karen), Richard (Jean), Vincent and Declan (Catherine) Hughes, sister-in-law Maria Hughes, Ronnie Greene as well as all the wider Hughes, Kelly and Greene families and her many friends.

Reposing at home on Wednesday, July 24 from 5 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.

Removal on Thursday, July 25 to arrive at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill in advance of Requiem Mass therein at 2.00 p.m.

MADELINE MALONEY, KILTIMAGH

Madeline Maloney (née Boyle), Cloonkedagh, Kiltimagh and formerly of Kilnagower, Claremorris.

Sadly missed by her husband Francis, family, Seamus, Eleanor, Stella and Brian, grandchildren Megan, Kathryn and Niall, Ian, Robert and Rachel, Colm, Kevin and Mark, Jack, Claire and Madeline, daughters-in-law, Mary and Courtney, sons-in-law, Alan and Brian.

Predeceased by her parents James and Mary and brother Fergus, dearly missed by her sisters Kathleen, Mary Ellen and Noreen in San Francisco and Celia Mullaney Kiltimagh, sister-in-law Maureen, brothers-in-law Frank and Bob. Her nieces, nephews, cousins and wide circle of amazing friends and neighbours.

Reposing in the Family Home on Wednesday evening, 24, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The funeral cortège will leave the family home on Thursday morning at 11.40 a.m. to arrive at The Church of the Holy Family, Kiltimagh at 12 noon, followed by burial in Kilkinure Cemetery.

Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Susan

Marie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her children Michael, Gerard and Donna, son-law Liam, daughters-in-law Kelly and Catherine and her adored grandchildren Conor, Joseph, Seán, Aaron, Aoife, Cillian, Rory and Lorcan, brothers Paul and Michael, sisters Anne and Susan and all of her extended and much loved family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Boland's Funeral Home, Swinford this Tuesday evening, July 23 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with removal to St. Celsus' Church, Kilkelly, to arrive at 8 p.m.

Funeral Mass this Wednesday morning, July 24 at 12 p.m. in St. Celsus' Church, Kilkelly, burial immediately afterwards in Bushfield Cemetery.
