Mayo golf Am Am raises €28,935 for the Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association

THE Pauline O'Donohue memorial golf Am Am at Castlebar Golf Club raised €28,935 for the Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association.

The O'Donohue family, John, Sean, Sinead, Niamh, and committee members would like to sincerely thank all for supporting Pauline's memorial golf Am Am and raffle in aid of the IMNDA.

They are humbled and honoured by the generosity of the golfers, the fantastic support from local business people, sponsors and everyone who donated and purchased tickets for the event.

The tremendous success of this event is a fitting tribute to Pauline, who herself was an enthusiastic fundraiser and gave selflessly of her time raising much needed funds for various charities and events.

Johanna McGrath, IMNDA, is extremely grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of this event.

Johanna advised that IMNDA is 86% funded from voluntary contributions and the monies raised is much needed for the organisation to help those living with the disease and continue ongoing research into finding a cure.

Thank you to Castlebar Golf Club and MP Rocklands Catering for hosting the event.
