Significant 'green' funding for top Mayo GAA club

Castlebar Mitchels has announced that its application for the Community Climate Action funding has been successful and Castlebar Mitchels have been approved for a grant of €72, 412.

Over the last number of years Castlebar Mitchels has developed its environmental sustainability plan under the sub headings; energy, water, transport, biodiversity and waste.

This funding will greatly enhance this work and will build and shape a low carbon sustainable club.

Castlebar Mitchels has thanked club registrar and member of the club environmental sustainability group, Martin Moran, on making a very successful application.
