Tribute to Mayo hospital staff member on his retirement

One of the longest-serving members of the staff at the Sacred Heart Hospital, Castlebar, is retiring today.

John Joe Ormsby, Snugboro, has given 46 years of loyal and dedicated service to the facility's patients and residents.

A hugely popular and respected member of staff, John Joe is wished many years of health and happiness by all his work colleagues.

Local Councillor Ger Deere joined in wishing John Joe the very best in his retirement.
