ERNEST JOSEPH LYDON, CONG
Ernest (Ernie) Joseph Lydon Drumsheel lower, Cong.
Predeceased by his son Philip, parents Stephen and Olive, sister May and brother Frank.
Beloved husband of his devoted wife Christine. He will be deeply missed by his children Abigail, Jill and Ernest, son-in-law Bartley, Abigail's partner Patrick and daughter-in-law Molly.
His grandchildren, Emma, Jason, Ethan, and Cian.
Sadly missed by sister Eileen, relatives, great neighbours and good friends.
A special thanks to the wonderful staff at Mayo General hospital and Mayo Hospice who cared for Ernest in his final days.
Residing at his residence on Tuesday, July 30, house strictly private, reposing at his residence Drumsheel lower, Cong on Wednesday, July 31 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Ernest's Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, August 1, at 11 a.m. in Saint Mary of the Rosary Church, Cong, with burial afterwards in Lisloughrey Cemetery, Cong.

Catherine (Kit) Maguire (née Cleary), Cedar Park Westport, formerly Grange, Co. Sligo and originally Tinahely, Co. Wicklow.
Predeceased by her husband Frank, her sister Ailish Byrne and brother Joe Cleary.
Kit will be sadly missed by her daughter Sheila and sons John, Robbie and Jeremy, son-in-law Oliver, daughters-in-law Noelle,Marian and Louise and by her grandchildren Daire, Catherine, Tadhg, Reuben and Sarah, her extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Navin's funeral home, Mill street, Westport on Wednesday, July 31 from 5 p.m. with removal at 6.30 p.m. to St Mary's Church Westport.
Funeral Mass on Thursday, August 1 at 11 a.m. with funeral proceeding to Aughavale Cemetery.
